NFF rewards Falcons with N.6m

NIGERIA'S Super Falcons were on Saturday six hundred thousand naira richer, as the Nigeria (N600,000) Football Federation (NFF), President, Alhaji Aminu Maigari on behalf of the federation boosted the team with the sum of N500,000.
While presenting the money to the team on Saturday, Maigari said: "I am presenting this to you on behalf of the federation for your qualification for the African Women Championship and to encourage the entire team to do better in subsequent games".
Meanwhile, National Coordinator of women’s teams, Aisha Falode also presented the sum of N100,000 to boost the team's morale and also to motivate them to put in more effort as they prepare for the African Women’s Championship billed for Equitorial Guinea later in the year.
The Super Falcons sealed their qualification for the African Women’s Championship after beating their counterpart from Zimbabwe by 6-0 on aggregate at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos a week ago in the qualifying series.
